Ema Toyama’s Vampire Dormitory Manga Concludes in June
Ema Toyama’s popular manga series, Vampire Dormitory, will be coming to an end in June. The final chapter will be published in the July issue of Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine, set to release on June 3.

Vampire Dormitory, which first debuted in November 2018, took a brief hiatus after the completion of its initial part in July 2022. The manga then returned with its second part in December 2022. The 13th compiled volume of the series was released by Kodansha on March 13.
Kodansha USA Publishing has been releasing the English version of the manga. The 10th volume was published in print on June 20, and the 11th volume is scheduled for digital release on May 21 and print release on May 28. The story revolves around Mito, a girl living on the streets disguised as a boy, and Ruka, a vampire with an interest in 2D girls. Ruka offers Mito a place to stay in the boys’ dormitory if she becomes his subservient thrall, keeping her true identity a secret.
Anime Adaptation and Streaming
The manga adaptation of Vampire Dormitory inspired an anime series that premiered on TOKYO MX and BS Nippon TV on April 7. It later began airing on AT-X and MBS. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime in various regions, including North America, Europe, and India.
