Bino, the creator of the manga “Wasteful Days of High School Girl,” has launched a new essay manga titled “Emotional Baby Period ~I Raised a Human for 2 years~.” The first chapter was published on Tuesday on Kadokawa’s Comic Newtype web manga site.

In this essay manga, Bino shares her funny parenting experiences while taking care of her 2-year-old son, Poyo-chan. The manga provides a humorous insight into the challenges and joys of raising a child.

Bino’s previous manga, “Wasteful Days of High School Girl,” went on hiatus in June 2021 when she gave birth to her baby. However, the manga resumed serialization in December 2021. The manga has been serialized in Comic Newtype, Nico Nico Seiga, and pixiv Comic. The 11th volume of the manga is set to be published on October 10 by Kadokawa.

The manga also inspired an anime adaptation, which premiered in July 2019. Sentai Filmworks streamed the anime on HIDIVE as it aired in Japan. The English dubbed version of the anime was released on Blu-ray Disc in September 2020. Additionally, a live-action series adaptation premiered on TV Asahi in January 2020.
