His tweet, which roughly translates to “No. 405, I’m working on it. Moon Healing Escalation!” marks his first update since October 2, 2023, when he last provided an update on the progress of the series.

The hiatus of the HUNTER x HUNTER manga began after the publication of chapter 400 on December 18, 2022. This break left fans eagerly awaiting any news of the series’ return.
However, on November 20, 2023, Togashi surprised fans by revealing the potential endings of HUNTER x HUNTER in case he passed away before completing the manga. He shared that there are three planned endings, labeled A, B, and C, each offering varying levels of satisfaction for the fans.
